Students work together to create a series of 10 minute plays while examining scene and overall play structure, characters, conflict, events, dialogue, and action. Emphasis is placed on idea generation, creative risk taking, and a collaborative process. The playwriting process includes lots of improv games, creative exercises and fun writing prompts. Additional classes in acting, movement, improv and more round out the week, and provide an additional lens for our writers to view their work and each other!.
