We thought you might enjoy hearing what our students - and their parents - have to say about PGT Summer and theatre programs...
To the Faculty and Staff of PGT,
My wife and I want to take a moment to thank the entire staff at Play Group Theatre for everything they did for our son, Jaden Gonzalez, this summer. Jaden was part of the PGT Kids summer program and loved every minute. He woke up every morning with a smile on his face, eager to get back to camp. During the six weeks Jaden spent at PGT, we saw tremendous growth in him. Our once shy and timid son has become a confident and outgoing performer who loves being on stage. He is also more comfortable and confident overall, having been surrounded by kids with similar interests and teachers who encouraged them every step of the way.
The program itself was great, but it was the commitment and energy of the faculty and staff that made it a truly remarkable experience for our son. My wife and I witnessed first-hand the genuine passion and enthusiasm of every single member of the PGT staff. PGT has succeeded in creating a nurturing and positive environment where children can feel safe and are free to express themselves creatively.
We are amazed at how much Jaden has grown and we are thankful that a place like PGT exists.
Sincerely,
Daniel & Sonia Gonzalez
You have made PGT a place where everyone is so proud of everyone else. In a pay-it-forward kind of spirit, you created a movement of genuine compliment-giving. Not only does this make PGT the place that I look forward to coming to every week, but it improves our art. Your excitement and dedication inspires me so much. You bring out the best in each actor and each person. I don't for the life of me understand just how you do that, but you always do. I have loved every minute that I have spent at PGT.

I hope this note finds you well and relaxing a bit after what I am sure was a hectic summer at camp! I wanted to let you know what an incredible time Ethan had at PGT. He loved every activity - the show (and the work building the show), the campers, the staff (and their enthusiastic and friendly daily greetings and goodbyes), the camaraderie, and just getting to let loose, be himself and have fun. He felt from the beginning that PGT was a great fit and he continues to feel that way now. He left camp each day energized and feeling good about himself and everything he was learning and experiencing. And the book you give each child at the end…that was so special . Ethan cherished each comment from his fellow campers and staff members. Those bits of encouragement and kindness mean so much to Ethan - they are uplifting to him. Our family also loved seeing him in the show - he smiled from beginning to end and looked so happy, which made our day!
So, on behalf of Ethan and myself, thank you for an amazing experience.... He now wants to write a play too, inspired by PGT he believes that this and more is possible!
Sincerely,
Patrice Karp
