Improv Troupe

Welcome to PGT’s Improv Troupe! Throughout rehearsals, students will explore this most spontaneous art of acting in an ensemble environment. Focus will be placed on building a strong group dynamic, making quick acting choices and following each unique creative impulse to the fullest.

The troupe meets each week in the colorful Jonah Mac Theatre, where they start with this basic rule of Improv: "Yes, AND..." That is, say YES to what your partner throws your way, and then build on it with ideas of your own. What happens from there? Well...it's Improv! Who knows?!?!

The season ends with a performance in March in the Jonah Mac Theatre for family, friends and fans.
